I consider my dark eye circles as my biggest flaw. It makes me look so terrible and it makes people in general look awful.
How do you get rid of them?

Idk I usually find things people precieve as flaws attractive on some people.
I have a friend with sparse brows that she felt made her ugly and used to tell her for years please try doing your full face without drawing your brows and she looks so much better now and she gets lots of compliments . I will say tho she has the bone structure to balance it out.
And for me personally when I have bad sleep and dark circles I enhance it with eyeliner on my lower lash line. I know for makeup gurus that’s a no no but honestly all does makeup rules are just stupid. Be unique make your flaws your asset.

Bobbi Brown cosmetics has a pretty good undereye corrector to cover them with. As for skin care products, haven’t found anything that works

Brightening under eye creams are easy to find and purchase, and there are millions of brands to choose from. Get one.

I have them too. It's partially genetic in my case.
Use a roller to stimulate circulation.
Use a hydrating eye serum/gel/cream & apply it under your eyes. Do not use products containing caffeine because while they might work, they can dry out the skin.
Use aloe vera gel, the purest you can get, under your eyes. You can use an aloe vera hydrating face mask (e.g. in tubes) & apply it under your eyes & wash it off.
Get enough sleep everyday, whether that's 7, 8, 9, 10 etc hours for you to be fully rested. Fully rested is key.
EDIT: if you are prone to hirsutism, e.g. facial hirsutism, PCOS induced or otherwise you should follow the old boomer South Asian wives advice of never applying any oil on your face (skin), including castor oil, unless you want to wake up sprouting longer lashes, fuller undereyes AND new little unwanted hairs on your cheeks under the eyes (from oil dripping & sliding off). All the products I mentioned above are oil-free & should be oil-free for such cases.

Sweetheart, I hope you get therapy. Your posts are so concerning.
Besides that, dark circles are difficult to get rid of. They could be genetic, or due to lack of sleep, hyperpigmentation, or I recently found out for me - due to poor lymphatic drainage.
You need to go to an expert. Research good skin estheticians near you. There are different treatment options, but they are expensive af. I’ve had treatments like skin lightening, microneedling, peels, etc. that work for a while, but the circles return. It’s very frustrating, but what can you do?
Find a good concealer. At least dark circles can be covered up. Be thankful you don’t have eye bags.

I love dark eye circles on people, because it makes me think of someone staying up late nights with a huge cup of coffee and writing their breakthrough novel, but I digress.
Lemon is supposed to be good for lightning areas, along with sun screen for protection.
I can’t wait for eye circles to become cool like dimples and freckles though.

If it’s genetic, you can only use concealer. I don’t think there’s anything out there that’ll lift them.
Also, try to get more sleep?

I kind of like mine they give depth to my eyes. They’re genetic though, not because of tiredness. I have slightly darker eyelids as well so it almost looks like eyeshadow lol.

They actually make eyes look bigger and give a sultry look.
Just use a makeup sponge to apply a matte concealer slightly lighter and then use the flat end of the sponge, dip in powder to set.
People talking about health when it's often a genetic condition.
