This was my first time with Danica, but it wont be my last. She knew exactly what I wanted and I dont have the easiest hair to work with. I have medium length wavy think hair and she did my color beautifully and added my highlights to make my hair look natural. She also did a great shampoo and head massage and made sure my hair and color were even. She took the time needed and made great conversation plus Shear Headcase is not stuffy and the Salon had a nice vibe.

This is a great little salon. It’s both homey and chic; a great combination that leaves you feeling like you’re in good hands. They use high quality products and tools, so my hair always feels wonderful. I’ve never felt dissatisfied with what I’ve had done, when I left. I’d highly recommend the salon, and specifically Danica, as I’m a regular of hers (though, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the stylists that work there).

As many times as I’ve driven past this salon, I really should have tried them out sooner! Sabrina did a great job on my long hair. I’m pretty low maintenance when it comes to my hair and she understood exactly. Even though they’re right on Hwy 71, the Windows from the shampoo room look out at beautiful oaks that I never really noticed driving by. I think I’ve found my new salon.

It took me a year and three stylists to finally stumble across Shear Headcase Hair Salon. I made an appointment for cut and color with Ashton. I’m thrilled as she did an outstanding job! Exactly what I was looking for. I love the salon and all of the stylists are really welcoming and friendly. Love the Davines products. I am happy to finally find a great salon! I will definitely be returning for all of my hair care needs!

I just got my hair cut here the other day by Ashton and she did a fantastic job. I moved to Austin about a year ago after having the same stylist nearly all of my life. My hair isn’t too complicated, long layers, shorter in the front, no coloring, but I hadn’t found a stylist who did it just right. Until now, Ashton is my girl! My hair has bounce and body while the layers fall perfectly! I will definitely be back!

Danica is fantastic! This is the only salon I have been to that has given me the auburn red I want. Not brown-y auburn, but a bright vibrant red. I brought in a picture and got exactly what I wanted. The cut was a wavy shoulder length bob. They took me in on a Friday after work and I didn’t feel hurried or rushed. The shampoo was absolutely yummy and I will have to buy it the next time I come in. My wash, color, and cut looked good three days after the visit and it pained me to wash such a beautiful ‘do! Reds fade easily, but I am happy to report my color looks good after two weeks. The staff is laid back and cool. I was asked if I wanted something to drink while waiting for my cut. I got compliments on my hair the next day and I can’t wait to try something new. I felt the price was fair for the quality of work and the amount of time she took. This is a cute cozy salon and I’ll be back.

I have been going to Shear Headcase Hair Salon for 5 years, and I love it. My hair always looks great. The haircuts keep their shape over time so that it is manageable between cuts. I am always complimented on the color (both regrowth / highlights). The products they use are quality products with very little (if any harsh chemicals). I went from thick curly hair to thin poker straight from health reasons, they were a huge help with the transition. I would recommend them to anyone.

This place rocks. I come here regularly for color and highlights. I recently decided to go ahead and add layers to my long hair, and the results were FABULOUS. Last time I was here I decided to try something new… Eyelash Extensions! My lashes are gorgeous! I am absolutely addicted to them, my lashes look amazing and I don’t even need mascara (and I am not a girl that typically goes anywhere without mascara). The atmosphere is very pleasant. The prices are reasonable, the employees are super nice. Danica is the best, she always goes above and beyond to make me happy. I am now a regular here!
