Anderson "Ken" Menasha Age 63, died on Monday, June 9, 1997 at his home. Ken was born on December 7, 1933 in Little Chute to the late Edwin and Viola (Girard) Anderson. He was a member of the Local Nine BAC Union. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Bernice; sons: Kevin (special friend, Trish) Anderson, Freedom; Kurt (Stacy) Anderson, Little Chute; daughter: Jackie (Aaron) Kroll, Neenah: step-children: Larry (Elizabeth) George, Kaukauna; Marsceau, Sun Prairie; Deb (special friend, John) George, Crivitz; Judy (Jim) Wittman, Kaukauna; Dan (Barb) George, Anderson, Appleton; brother: Tom (Sheila) Little Chute; two grandchildren, seven step aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be on Wednesday, June 11, 1997 at 7 p.m. at the Valley Funeral Home Appleton, with Pastor Steve Foster officiating. The visitation will be on Wednesday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.

J. Burns Neenah Age 70, died on Saturday, June 7, 1997 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah. She was born on June 10, 1926 in Antigo, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Orlin and Violet (Hewitt) Robbins. She was married to Raymond Burns on June 1, 1946 at St. John's Catholic Church, Menasha, and he preceded her in death on June 18, 1994.

Marge was a member of the American Legion Post in Fremont. She was a former member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Weyauwega. Her hobbies included playing bingo. Survivors include two sons: Robert (Dawn) Burns, Omro; Dan (Cindy) Burns, Fremont; a daughter, Sue (Junior) Freiermuth, Honesdale, Pennsylvania; 11 grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; a sister, Delores Belling, Neenah; a brother, Orvil Robbins, Winneconne. She was preceded in 1 death by two sons: Corporal Thomas Burns, a U.S.

Marine killed in Vietnam; and an infant son, Melvin. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 12, 1997 at 11 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega. Father Bert Samsa will officiate. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega.

Marge was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister to all of us and will truly be missed by all. Michael R. Dennis 164 McKinley Street Kaukauna Age 55, died Tuesday, June 10, 1997 at Appleton Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 25, 1942 in Laona, the son of the late Orville and Edith (Smith) Dennis. He served in the U.S.

Army 82nd Airborne Division from 1962 to 1965. Michael married Shirley Frank on January 18, 1964. For the past 31 years he was employed at Albany International, Appleton, formerly known as Wire Works. He liked hunting, fishing, camping, and his grandkids. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Shirley; a son: Scott Dennis, Neenah; two daughters and a son-in- nan Apt. 217D, is scheduled to enter a plea July 7 to the felony charge of placing her child for adoption for a price of more than the medical and legal fees. Defense attorney Rob Bellin argued that the case should be dismissed because Tiffany received less than the $3,500 medical expenses testified to by an Appleton police officer. Bellin said he will appeal Bolgert's bindover. Bellin said his client should not be facing a potential prison term law: Dawn and Tom De Coster, Kaukauna; Melissa Dennis, Kaukauna; four grandchildren: Chrissy, Scott II and Brett Dennis and Angela De Coster; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Shirley and Bob Kavanaugh, North Carolina; Bonnie Nightingale, North Carolina; a sister-in-law: Geraldine Smith, Nichols; many nieces and nephews, and his dog, Dakota.

He was preceded in death by a brother, William Smith; four sisters: Beverly, Bernice, Vivian and Melva; a gale. He was born November 21, 1924 in Appleton, to the late Alois and Clara (Hilger) Fischer and had been an Appleton resident all of his life. Gilbert served with the United States Navy during World War II, in the Pacific Theatre and had been employed in construction. He was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a member of the Oney Johnston-Edward Blessman America Legion Post Harvey Pierre VFW Post and Commondore John Barry Catholic War Vets Post Survivors include two brothers: Walter Fischer, Appleton; Wilbert Fischer, Portland, Oregon; a sister-in-law, Rita Fischer, Appleton. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Alvin and Alois Fischer.

The funeral liturgy for Gilbert will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 1997 at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 West Lawrence with Father David Belongea, Capuchin, officiating. Frank 612 Frances Kaukauna Age 49, died Monday, June 9, 1997 at St. Elizabeth Hospital following a sudden illness. She was born August 4, 1947 in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Harold and Lorraine (Guyette) Shuckhart. Marie was a waitress for the last 29 years at numerous area restaurants, currently at Mohnen's Family Restaurant, Darboy. It was her pride and joy to meet and joke with the customers.

She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, Darboy. Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Glenn Kaukauna; three sons and daughtersin-law: Tom (Cora), Houston, Texas; Harold (Kerri), Appleton; Glenn Jr. (Sherry), Kaukauna; three grandchildren: Eric Frank, Kelsie and Austin Frank; five sisters and brothers-in-law: Mary (Dale) Arnoldussen, Agnes (Dennis) Hietpas, Margaret (Gary) Hoehne, Lin(Terry) Miller, all of Kaukauna; Juanita (John) DeBruin, Little Chute; a brother, Harold Shuckhart, Appleton; six half-sisters: Juanita (Chester) Guyette, Doris (Sheldon) ho*rtsch, Marge Kunsmen, all of Menasha, Joyce (Dick) Boardmen, Neenah, Leola Lodas, Crandon; Edith Becker, Oshkosh; a half-brother, Donald (Joan) Shuckhart, Forest Junction; numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a parish prayer serv- "because she missed one step of the adoption procedures while it is OK to suck the brains out of a partially born child." Calumet County Dist. Atty. Kenneth Kratz admitted the case was unusual, but said, "This is just the kind of thing the child protection laws were attempting to prevent." Kratz pointed out that the two women involved in the case were aware of the legal adoption procedures but chose to "circumvent the law." He called Bellin's arguments ice at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name.

Boettcher Family Funeral Home 2401 Fielderest Dr. Rebecca Jansen "Becky" 309 Claribel Kaukauna Age 40, died at 6:30 a.m. Monday, June 9, 1997. She was the daughter of the late Harold "Hipe" and Bernadette Jansen. She was born February 17, 1957.

Becky enjoyed crafts, needlework, reading and shopping. Becky will be missed by her family and friends. Gertrude Jepson New London Age 95, passed away at the Oakridge Garden Nursing Home in Menasha on Monday June 9, 1997 after a lingering illness. She was born September 12, 1901 in New London. She was the former Gertrude Schmallenberg. She married Leonard Jepson October 12, 1935.

He preceded her in death March 10, 1993. She and her husband lived and farmed in the Bear Creek area until 1971, at which time they moved to New London. She is surveived by a sister-in-law a brother-in-law, Ivern (Ila) Shilleman, Appleton; also nieces and nephews. John Schewe officiating, with burial in Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:30 p.m. until the time of service. Darrin J. Noffke Town of Poygan Age 28, died Sunday evening, June 8, 1997 at his home.

He was born December 19, 1968 in Neenah, Wisconsin the son of Ronald and Barbara (Eiden) Noffke. He attended Winneconne schools and in his early years was employed at the Larry Leader farm. He has since been employed with Kopplin-Kinas of Green Lake until the present time. He married Karen Craig on August 24, 1996 in Winneconne and they made their home in the Town of Poygan. He was a member of St.

Mary Catholic Church, Winneconne. He is survived by his wife, Karen (Craig) Noffke, Town of Poygan; his parents: Ronald and Barbara Noffke; three brothers: Jesse Noffke and his special friend Tracy Ziebell and his niece Brienna Noffke; Travis Noffke and Luke Noffke, all of the Town of Poygan; his grandparents: Della Eiden, Winneconne; Clarence and Lucille Noffke, Town of Poygan; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Born December 9, 1922 in the Township of Deer Creek, Outagamie County to the late Charles and Eva (Leanna) Pelky. He resided in New London for many years and was retired from the Simmons Company.

He was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. He is survived by two sisters: Anna Boser, New London; and Helen Guyette, Appleton; a brother, Brother Roger Pelky, Phoenix City, Alabama; also many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and five sisters. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 13, 1997 at 10:30 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church with the Rev.

The Cline-Hanson Funeral Home, New London is assisting the family with arrangements. Leslie I. Rasmussen "Babe" Waupaca Age 71, died Sunday, June 8, 1997 at his home in Waupaca, Wisconsin. He was born August 10, 1925, the son of Leslie and Bridget (Landers) Rasmussen. Leslie married Phyllis Simons on November 25, 1947 in the Town of Royalton, Waupaca County.

She preceded him in death on October 16, 1995. Leslie worked for Bordens in New London for 32 years. He was an avid golfer. He was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.

Leslie and his wife wintered in Florida. He is survived by three sons: Walter (Geralynn) Rasmussen, Stevens Point; Peter (Ann) Rasmussen, Waupaca; Matthew (Judith) Rasmussen, Weyauwega; three daugnters: Anne (Howard) Abhold, Waupaca; Christine (Brian) Sands, Weyauwaga; Lucy (Jerome) Ormson, Iola; 11 grandchildren: Heather, Anna, David, Breanne, and Samuel Rasmussen; Jessica and 1 Howard III Abhold; Alyssa and Jacob Sands; Joshua and Jenna Ormson; two greatgrandchildren: Jordan Allard and Alex Rasmussen. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis, and a brother, Gerard Rasmussen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, 1997 at St.

Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca with Father James Vennix officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's olic Cemetery, Township of Lebanon, Waupaca County. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Schneiderwendt Appleton Age 66, died on Monday, June 9, 1997 at his home.

He was born on October 14, 1930 in Marion, to the late Gustav and Alma (Dargusch) Schneiderwendt. He will be sadly missed by his children: Clifford (Pamela) Schneiderwendt, Waukesha; Colleen (Gary) Benner, Tina (fiancee, Jim) Maas and Aaron (Kathy) Schneiderwendt, all of Appleton. Richmond St. 733-5435 Serving As Would Be Served Holcombe said she was present at the birth and took possession of the baby the following day. The baby was given Holcombe's surname. Holcombe said she didn't want to go through the legal adoption procedures because she has a past felony conviction. She did not elaborate on what it was for, or when it occurred.

The law requires placing the baby in a foster home for up to five months, during which an extensive investigation is done into the back- Sonya S. Seehawer N1096 Shaky Lake Road, Fremont Age 28, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 1997 in Madison, Wisconsin. She was born on November 4, 1968 in Appleton, the daughter of Richard and Loretta (Konow) Seehawer. In June of 1990, Sonya graduated from the Central Wisconsin Special Education Program in Madison. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Loretta and Don Bess, Fremont; paternal grandmother, Geraldine Seehawer, Neenah; three sisters: Sherry (Dennis) Meyer, Hortonville; Sandra Seehawer, New London; Sharlotte (Robert) Rhode, Bear Creek; nieces and nephews: Jaci and Tim Meyer; Lydia and Elijah Seehawer; Richard Elliot and Hattie Rhode; two step-brothers: Mike (Carol) Bess, Green Bay; Ross Seehawer, Madison; a step-sister, Marla (Peter) Beans, Chandler, Arizona; She is further survived by aunts, uncles, and other relatives, as well as her special friends and caretakers at the Central Wisconsin Home: Faye, Barbara, and Bernice.

She was preceded in death by her father, her grandfathers, and maternal grandmother. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, 1997 at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Dale.

Though we will never see your first steps or hear your first words or see you grow into adulthood, we will always cherish the five weeks of joy and love you brought us.

Nicole is survived by her parents, big brothers Jimmy and Matthew and big sister Brianna, all at home; her loving godparents: Rick and Ann Gehl and their three daughters Tara, Ashleigh and Eryka, and Brent and Betsy Muller and their boys Buddy and Elijah; her grandparents: Loney and Norma Zarling and James and Shirley Sommers. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles: Carol and Jim Brick and their children (Ashley and Amber), Karen and Terry Sittmann ground of the prospective adoptive parent or parents. Holcombe has waived her preliminary hearing and is scheduled to enter a plea to a felony charge of paying more than the price of medical and legal fees for the child.

She will appear June 23 before Calumet County Circuit Judge Donald Poppy. Kratz said he "anticipates the case will be resolved at that time." The child, now in the custody of the county, has been placed in a foster home in Appleton. (Crystal and John), Carol and Dave Coulson (Alisha and Taylor), Donna and Chet Blackburn (Stephanie), Lynn Sommers and fiance Jarrod Kind, Zarling and special friend Bonnie Resch (Toby, Jesse and Todd), Scott Sommers, and Don and Jan Zarling (Keith and Terry). Nicole is further survived by all her family in England. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m.

and then at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Bernice V. Zuge 122 Plummer Neenah Age 78, died Sunday, June 8, 1997 at her home. She was born on February 14, 1919 in the town of Little Wolf, Waupaca County, daughter of the late John and Bertha (Rice) Duesinski.

She was married to the late Alvin P. Zuge, who preceded her in death on April 27, 1970. Bernice was a Neenah resident since 1947 and a member of Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church. During World War II, Bernice was employed a a a ship welder. She was a teacher's aid for several years at Florence High School.

She was a loving mother and grandmother, in which she helped raise four grandchildren. She loved to travel and enjoyed flower gardening. Bernice is survived by her son, Peter (Julie Gavin) Zuge, Neenah; eight grandchildren: Donna, Peter Bethany, Jesse, Bobbie Jean, Mark, Bradley, and Steven; six greatgrandchildren: Randy, Wyatt, Jerrid, Tyler, Benjamin, and Joseph; a brother, Arlin Lucht, Neenah; a sister, Elaine Cartwright, Neenah; and by nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her step-father, Emil John Lucht. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 1997 at 2 p.m.
