Creepy, A Bit Cheesy, Tim Curry/ King Classic!
Violence: 4/5-As its a TV movie the violence is very mild and mostly off screen. The blood is very little and not overused. The makeup is brilliant and Tim Curry provides a truly terrifying performance as Pennywise that the remake cannot provide. Dead body of a man who killed himself shown. Not too graphic but sad and disturbing. Sex 1/5- Crushes.Language: 2/5- sh*t used infrequently.Role Models: 5/5- The kids are great role models and a brave and there for each other.Love this film as a fan of Tim Curry. Must watch!

Cheesy, but good adaptation of the novel
This was actually a very good film, considering the fact that it was a horror miniseries made for television. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I would recommend it to anyone who loves horror movies, but isn’t afraid of clowns. It’s cool how Pennywise looks like a circus clown in this movie, but has a different, scarier clown look in the 2017 and 2019 It movies. I think the 5/5 for violence is a little bit of an exaggeration, since the violence isn’t super dark, so I would say it should be more like 3/5 for violence. Also, the violence and gore is limited, since it is made for television. If your kid is in their early teens or even just shy of being a teenager, there is nothing in this movie that they cannot handle. Just some violence and language is about the worst of it. But do keep in mind that there are positive messages, like teamwork and loyalty, since positive role models, like the kids having to work together to defeat Pennywise and remain loyal to each other along the way. This is a very well-made horror film/miniseries, and no one should miss it!

A classic that ain't to bad!
Its scary but its not really bloody or filled with scares. Its more of a atmosphere and chiller in my opinion! But it is creepy! Its a good horror film for people new to the genre.
