Why is Siri controversial?
Siri has been criticized as embodying several facets of gender bias in artificial intelligence.
On Thursday, a judge ruled that Apple will have to continue fighting a lawsuit brought by users in federal court in California, alleging that the company's voice assistant Siri has improperly recorded private conversations.

If you were to ask Siri about something illegal, such as how to commit a crime or engage in harmful activities, Siri will not provide you with the information you seek. Instead, Siri will respond with a message along the lines of “I'm sorry, but I can't help with that.”
While it can usually handle a few simple, consecutive commands, it sometimes fails at that. And don't get me started on more complex input. So instead of having a normal conversation, you would have to repeat certain keywords with every subsequent question to make sure Siri is still aware of the conversation's context.
